indications:

• vascular changes: deep hemangiomas

• tattoos (red, orange, pink, blue, black, brown)

• permanent hair removal

• treatment parameters: pulses of light of wavelength 532 and 1064 nm green (visible green light or the near infrared range)

Mode of action:

The laser energy is being absorbed by the pigment (melanin, part of the hair and skin) and the dye of the tattoo. The dyes burst through the momentary heating and are then absorbed by the body or respectively, the hair root is being permanently damaged. Underlying and under the skin-located vascular structures (e.g. hemangioma) are bonded by the light from the inside (coagulated) and thus, permanently damaged.

Duration of treatment:

In case of permanent hair removal and tattoo removal, multiple sessions are always necessary. Caused by other conditions, one session can be sufficient.

Soreness:

Comparable with pinpricks. Depending on pain sensitivity and localization a surface-effective anesthetic cream can be applied.

After- treatment: Sun protection
