Spider veins - a cosmetic problem?

For patients, they are primarily a cosmetic problem: the so-called spider veins! The red or blue veins extend on the upper and lower limbs- in an reticular fashion. Usually they do not cause any physical complaints. However, there may lay a deeper problem behind these apparently rather optical lesions.

So one should get examined already in the event of small spider veins!

Treatment options:

The smallest, reddish veins can be removed by laser therapy. Depending on the size of the vessels different systems are available helping to get rid of the broken capillaries. Laser therapy is often combined with a manual sclerotherapy / micro-foam sclerotherapy.
