Dr. med. Frauke Welke - Reichwein, D.A.L.M.

After studying medicine and earning the doctorate at the University of Mainz, she completed her residency at the University Dermatological Clinic in Essen (Universitätsklinik Essen).

For the following 18 months and for the sake of deepening her knowledge in Phlebology, she worked in Vascular Surgery and Phlebology at the Evangelist Hospital Mülheim a.d Ruhr (Evangelisches Krankenhaus Mülheim a.d. Ruhr).

There, she completed her skills in the diagnosis of venous diseases (Doppler and Duplex Sonography) and learned a variety of surgical techniques.

Afterwards, she stepped up her surgical capabilities in the field of dermatological and plastic tumor surgery as well as in varices (varicose veins) surgery at the renowned clinic Hornheide.

Since December 2005, she is an asset to the Laser Medicine Center Rhine-Ruhr (Laser Medizin Zentrum Rhein-Ruhr) and during her time with us, she completed the course "Diploma in Aesthetic Laser Medicine" (DALM) of the University of Greifswald. Doctors with this additional qualification guarantee their patients a safe and professional  laser treatment.
